I am a product of Weatherford ISD, having attended Curtis Elementary, where I was proud to be a Bratcher Banana. My journey continued at Hall Middle School, where I benefited from the mentorship of exceptional coaches like John Jester and Brian Cox. At Weatherford's 9th Grade Center and later at Weatherford High School, I served as a SPED teacher's aide, working alongside Head Baseball Coach Jason Lee then Head Football Coach Reid Waller. This experience enriched and enhanced my understanding of education's impact on diverse learners and educators.
At Weatherford High School, I played Varsity Football, met my wonderful wife, Lauren, and built lifelong friendships that have continued to bless my life. I graduated from Weatherford High School in 2013.
Post-graduation, I furthered my education at Weatherford College, where I was blessed to receive multiple academic scholarships. Due to the propulsion enabled by Weatherford College, I continued on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.
I've been in Finance for a Fortune 500 Home Builder in DFW for 8 years. My career has instilled within me invaluable skills, such as financial management, strategic planning, budgeting, and building. My experience, enabled by the technology and tools of tomorrow, will be crucial in helping oversee WISD's financial health, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and supporting initiatives that enhance educational outcomes for Students and Teachers.
